These domes make a beautiful and refined statement in your home or business.  Modeled after classical domes of Europe, they are intended to create an eye-catching focal point in any room - creating beautiful dimensionality in the vertical areas of your home as well.

The domes are one piece molded polyethylene resin, and trays are in four sections which bolt together with standard hardware. They are 8' in diameter including tray from edge to edge, with an approximate 32" rise.  

The dome interior is suitable for finishing with paint, metal leafing and other faux work. We have both smooth and  scalloped interiors.

They will accept lighting or other fixtures up to 100lb. weight as well as space for rope lighting around the inside rim of the dome for uplighting if you choose.   Heavier fixtures can be bolted through the dome to a supporting truss above the dome.

They are:

• Lightweight - 250lbs dome and tray vs. 360lb or more for other options

• UV protected - for applications where part of the dome might be exposed

• Double walled for superior insulation purposes

 

This makes a dome that is stronger, lighter, and more well-insulated than other alternatives.

They can be used indoors for entry way, dining, library rooms, bedrooms etc. or outdoors in patio or gazebo applications!
